Your SAMMI Investment. Now in Any Browser.

You've invested years building SAMMI formats and peer applications. SammiWeb delivers all of it to any modern browser — with zero changes on your end.

The Zero-Change Promise

📄

Your Formats

Every SAMMI format you've built converts automatically. All 40+ DDO types render faithfully in the browser.

⚙️

Your Peers

Your peer applications continue running unchanged. No recompilation, no protocol changes, no modifications.

🌐

Any Browser

Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari. Desktop, laptop, tablet. From the control room, the office, or home.

How It Works

1

Install Sammi Server

A single RHEL appliance (VM or physical) on your network. Sammi Server connects to your existing peers using standard SAMMI RPC — the same protocol they already speak.

2

Convert Your Formats

Our automated conversion tool transforms your existing SAMMI formats into web-ready pages. Background images, animations, DDO properties — all preserved.

3

Open a Browser

Navigate to your SammiWeb URL and see your displays live with real-time data. Your operators see exactly what they expect — in any browser, from any device.

See Your Displays in the Browser

These are actual SammiWeb displays running with simulated data — the same DDO types your formats use.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to modify my peer applications?

No. Your peers continue running exactly as they do today. SammiWeb connects through Sammi Server using standard SAMMI RPC — peers see normal subscriptions.

Will my formats look the same in the browser?

Yes. SammiWeb renders all 40+ DDO types with full fidelity — meters, gauges, trends, bar charts, push buttons, alphanumerics, dynamic objects, and more.

What about my background images and custom graphics?

All preserved. Background images, polygons, splines, text objects, and dynamic objects (DOBJs) with rotation, translation, and animation render in the browser.

Can operators send commands from the browser?

Yes. Push buttons, toggles, text entry fields, and option menus all support command dispatch back to your peer applications.

What SAMMI version is required?

SAMMI 7.x on RHEL 8 or 9. The Sammi Server appliance runs alongside your existing SAMMI installation.

How many browser sessions can it support?

Dozens to hundreds of simultaneous browser sessions, depending on the number of active data keys and update frequency.
